9:00 a.m. – Live Cattle Stockmanship Demonstrations
Spend the morning with renowned stockmanship clinician Dean Fish as he shares and demonstrates a variety of cattle handling methods. In this live cattle handling demonstration, the clinician will teach techniques surrounding how to read cattle behavior, how to teach cattle to respond to different types of pressure and will provide tips and tools surrounding “Low Stress Handling,” better known as effective stockmanship. Whether you work cattle on foot or horseback, if you have state of the art facilities or a basic wooden system, this session is sure to spark ideas to take home and practice on your operation. 11:00 a.m. – Break and visit vendors 11:15 a.m. – Transportation Demonstrations – Trailer Safety and Loading and Unloading Cattle
